I am getting a new cell phone but I can’t decide weather to get the blackberry storm or the iphone 3g, the blackberry storm seems to be superior exept it has wireless internet but not wifi and the iphone 3g has wifi.

WiFi is wireless fidelity…it connects to the internet via a wireless hot spot say in a coffee shop or perhaps at home if you have a wireless router .
wireless internet is via a USB dongle that plugs into your pc via the gsm mobile phone network or on a data plan from your phone as is the case here
A backberry has WiFi so you can Connect to a hot spot in a coffee shop
It also has a facility to purchase a data pack per month or so and connect to the INTERNET that way.
Two different methods of internet access
1…WiFi via a hot spot
2… Via a data plan on your mobile BLACKBERRY phone.
